LaGuardia lost their 8th straight game to start the season in overtime against Kingsborough, 97-93. 

The first half was highly contested, with both teams finding offensive success. The Red Hawks were led by Arthur Dukes who scored over half the teams total points in the first half. The Red Hawks found themselves trailing by just 2 entering halftime.

The second half was much of the same, as it seemed it was Dukes against all of Kingsborough. With 3 seconds left, Dukes found himself double teamed on the left wing with LaGuardia trailing by 3. He pumped fake once, got both players to jump, and then drained a 3 at the buzzer to force overtime. Despite these heroics, the Red Hawks quickly fell behind in overtime and struggled to comeback. In the loss, Arthur Dukes broke the previous single game scoring record, scoring 50 points in the contest. 

LaGuardia looks to bounce back from a devastating loss on Tuesday against Sullivan's JV team.
