The Red Hawks picked up their second straight win against the Suffolk Sharks, 67-62
The Red Hawks were able to jump out to an early lead thanks to the play of
Shemiah Sealey. Sealey was an offensive force, scoring 30 points and having 6 assists, leading LaGuardia to a 5 point halftime lead.Â
The Sharks wouldn't go down without fighting. Through efficient team shooting, the Sharks were able to tie up the game by the end of the third quarter. However, the Red Hawks refused to let the game slip away. Thanks to excellent rebounding efforts from both
Olithia Roach and
Moutiatou Djibring, the Red Hawks were able to outlast the Sharks and secure a 5 point victory.Â
