The Lady Red Hawks added another win to their record on Thursday against the Queesnborough Tigers, 69-58.
It was once again the play of LaGuardia's defense that helped them secure the victory. The Red Hawks held the Tigers to just 26 first half points and to 27% shooting for the game. LaGuardia was able to capitalize on their defensive performance and took a 35-26 lead into the half.
It was more of the same in the second half. The Red Hawks were able to get stops defensively, and on the offensive side, they were led by
Shemiah Sealey, who had 27 points.
Olithia Roach and
Moutiatou Djibring each contributed with a double double, including a career high 28 rebounds for Djibring.
The Red Hawks look to make it two straight wins against Monroe next Thursday.
