The LaGuardia Women's Volleyball Red Hawks fought hard in their Region 15 match against defending Regional champions Monroe Bronx on Tuesday evening. After a slow start, they ultimately fell in three straight sets (14–25, 24–26, 10–25). The second set was a nail-biter, with the Red Hawks pushing Monroe to the edge before dropping it by just two points. Despite the loss, the team showed resilience and flashes of strong play that they'll build on heading into the rest of the season.
Tuesday's loss was the team's fourth match in four days, and they'll return to the home court on Thursday evening for another CUNY matchup against Hostos.
