The LaGuardia Community College Men's Soccer Team hosts tryouts on Sunday, May 17th from 12 - 2 pm at Jack McManus Field on Roosevelt Island. Coaches Ahmed Johnson and Nick Heupel aim to add several talented, athletic players to a squad that already features some incredible players. The team is excited for the Fall 2026 season, and they have set their sights on winning the CUNY Championship. To accomplish this, the team has been recruiting players from local leagues and high schools, as well as from within LaGuardia Community College. The Red Hawks compete in a tough league; they compete in both Region 15 of the NJCAA and the CUNY Athletic Conference, facing teams from NYC, Long Island, and upstate. 

A second day of tryouts in planned for Sunday, May 24th from 12 - 2 pm at Jack McManus Field on Roosevelt Island.

Tryouts are open to all current LaGuardia students as well as men who are interested in attending LaGuardia Community College in the Fall. All players must be registered for 12 credits during Session 1 of Fall 2026 in order to meet NJCAA eligibility requirements and be able to play.
