Box Score Following a season-opening win by the women, the LaGuardia men's basketball team could not follow suit on Sunday afternoon, losing to visiting Bunker Hill 77-54. 

The Bulldogs opened up a 15 point lead at halftime, and LaGuardia narrowed the gap to just 8 points early in the second half, but the game got away from the Red Hawks as the game progressed. 

The men's team returned just four players from last season's roster and were led by sophomore Travon Lawrence, who registered a team-high 25 points on 8-of-14 shooting. Freshman Charlie Hall scored 15 points and 11 rebounds in his first career game.

The team will travel to Manhattan for its first Region 15 game of the season when it takes on the BMCC Panthers this Thursday evening.
